PV Streets In The News

It’s this time of the year again. It’s hot, wet n’ sticky all day long and you’re feeling the quality of many things, like our streets. There is no official connection between the increasing number in car accidents and street holes, but it suggests that there are too many dangerous holes in the streets that haven’t been fixed in a long time.

While people in charge are distracted figuring out new ways to attract tourism, money and of course wonderful Bikini Jams ;), Vallarta’s population that owns a car is driving slalom, throwing out money to repair damages caused by our streets.

But the number of holes is not the only one increasing. Local taxes are in the ways to be raised by up to 7 points. What exactly is being done with the extra money or how they ended up with the number seven is unknown. Only one thing is for sure:

“Our taxes are being used for anything else but to repair our streets.”
