Save Vallarta Adventure’s Logo

Something very unexpected has happened to Vallarta’s and probably Mexico’s biggest tour company: They are changing their image.
There is only one word that I have in mind when I saw their post on the new logo: WHY?
We have compared some thoughts and ideas that went through our minds when we saw the logo for the first time… take a look:
As you can see we played a bit around with their new logo… simply to make a point.
These are the words that pop up in our minds when we look at the…
…Old Logo:
Colorful, Wildlife, Nature, Ocean, Sunset, Friendly, Cool, Adventure, etc.
…New Logo:
Monotone, Health, Sports, Boring, Religion, Ugly A, ? between legs, etc.
What do you think about their new logo? Comments are welcome on our blog or on theirs… but since the comment option is OFF, just write them an email (newlogo@vallarta-adventurea.com) to let them know if you like the new or old logo.

I like the new logo, but it should have more color or something. It’s hard to compare since both logos are very different.
I like the ipod one!
The older logo is really cool, they should keep it.
I thought I do not really care about Vallarta Adventure’s logo, but the new one definitely sucks. There is nothing about advanture, it’s a boring Mr “Adventure” uahhhh…..they should come up with something exciting, colorful and tropical stuff. Maybe they are still working on it and wait for more ideas and inpug?

I hope you’re right and they either stick to the old logo or get some more examples.. the standing man is very cold and unfriendly I believe.
